罗秀媚，女，副研究员，硕士生导师。长期从事功能植物绿色生产与高值化产品研发的应用基础研究，重点聚焦马铃薯和可食微藻，开展功能食品的营养强化与生物制造相关工作。先后主持科技部政府间科技创新合作重点研发计划项目、国家自然科学基金等国家级和省部级项目8项；以第一作者/通讯作者在Molecular Plant、Journal of Hazardous Materials等期刊发表SCI论文20余篇；授权国家发明专利7项。入选中国农业科学院青年创新人才及“浔城英才”计划，现任农业农村部科技副总、新疆功能农业生物智造重点实验室副主任。
